Kayla: A Modern-Day Princess  Book Series

For Multicultural Children’s Book Day 2022, I am delighted to share Kayla: A Modern-Day Princess A Little Magic with you. This charming, inspiring, and heartwarming story is the final one in the Kayla: A Modern-Day Princess 5 book series. This diverse picture book series leads readers to see the importance of family, seeing the possibilities, and knowing our value.

I’ve enjoyed reading this book and seeing how Kayla pursuing her dream in a big and brave way. Kayla has a plan but it is a plan that others have planned for her. She is independent and persistent. As she returns home from college, she reveals her “big news.” The heartwarming and honest mother and daughter conversations begin to reveal how all the precious gifts from the past will influence Kayla’s future.

Kayla: A Modern-Day Princess A Little Magic encourages readers to believe in themselves, be proactive, even if there is tension. The illustrations of the book bring the story to life. The gentle lessons shared in the book can easily resonate with the readers.
