Chinese Through Story Earth Day | Miss Panda Chinese

Chinese Through Story features Earth Day!

What Earth Day activities are there for your kids to try?  What can you do to protect our Earth as a family, a community, class or school?

There are a lot of fun ways to celebrate Earth Day and generate ideas of how to protect our environment through discussion and a walk around a neighborhood. For example, one fourth grade class at my local school made a “water hero” statue out of recycled materials to remind themselves

You can also extend the lesson plan to learning about our solar system with word wall signs, posters, and basic facts.  Both traditional Chinese version and simplified version are available.

Adding new vocabulary and expressions to group activities that students can make, create, and sort!  You might also want to read another story in Chinese Through Story series.

This collection uses simple, easy, and short stories to engage children in Chinese language learning.
